Seascanner will launch in the US this month – part of the company’s international expansion strategy.

The expansion will be spearheaded by a new office located in Michigan, with the agency confirming local fares and promotions will be on offer to the US market.

It follows the introduction of operations in Spain and Germany in 2022 and 2023, respectively.

Demand for cruise

‘This is a milestone moment for Seascanner,’ said Tony Andrews, MD, cruise.co.uk. ‘It’s testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and the growing global demand for cruise holidays that we’re able to announce our US expansion, a mere three years since we launched in the UK.’

He added, ‘We’re excited to get going in what is commonly considered the world’s foremost cruise market...’

Revenue up by 79%

Seascanner, an offshoot of cruise.co.uk, launched three years ago in the UK to cater for younger cruise passengers. It recently celebrated its most successful Q4 ever with revenue up by 79% year-on-year.

Seascanner.co.uk revealed earlier this week it has expanded its offering to include a range of exclusive ‘Smarter Packages’ cruise-and-stay trips.
