Composto starts June 27, and will be based in Crystal’s Miami branch office, reporting to Carmen Roig, svp marketing and sales. Much of the supporting marketing service will continue to operate in Crystal's Los Angeles office.

With 25 years of experience in marketing management, brand and advertising strategy, and promotions, Composto has spent the past 2.5 years as vp marketing, the Americas, at Silversea. There, she redeveloped the corporate website and launched a visual rebranding campaign.

Before Silversea, Composto was senior marketing communications director for Ryder System. Her past experience also includes positions with JM Family Enterprises, Costa Cruise Lines and Renaissance Cruises.

Silversea has not lined up a successor for the marketing role.
