Succeeds Kathryn Valk

Triebel replaces Kathryn Valk who is now director of marketing, responsible for public relations and brand innovation.

He has been working on independent consulting assignments and was with Qantas for 19 years. His most recent position there was head of global sales and tourism development.

‘Jason has had an exceptional career to date and brings with him a deep understanding of the travel industry and our mutual customers,’ Susan Bonner, vp and md, said.

Commitment to strengthening trade relations

‘This appointment confirms our commitment to growing and strengthening our relationship with our important trade partners and wider community.’

Triebel said he is excited and privileged to be part of the cruise industry in the region.

‘We all have an important part to play in order to successfully meet demands and continue to grow both the Australians' and the New Zealanders' appetite for cruising,’ he said.
