Two perks are available to qualifying passengers in 2022.

Deep Blue Extras and Red Hot Booking Bonus Months

The first is 'Deep Blue Extras,' from one free Shake for Champagne, anytime boarding and premium Wi-Fi (when available) to exclusive cocktail parties and laundry services. 'Deep Blue Extras' are available for all qualifying sailors from September through December.

The second perk, 'Red Hot Booking Bonus Months,' gives special onboard credit and chances to win experiences across the Virgin family for new bookings made from Aug. 30 through Nov. 15 (excluding those made with existing voyage credits). Experiences include a luxurious trip to Ulusaba, Richard Branson’s private game reserve in South Africa, and Virgin Points through Virgin Red, the Virgin rewards club.

In addition, travelers who make a qualifying booking between now and Nov. 15 will earn an extra $200 in Sailor Loot (onboard credit), which is combinable with all other promotions.

Tokens track spending

Virgin Voyages introduced 'tokens' to track all qualifying spending to ensure sailors are positioned for benefits in 2023. All of the money spent with the line since its inception will be counted and tallied as tokens. And every dollar spent during these Red Hot Booking Bonus Months — up to four tokens per dollar for Sea-Blazers, and three tokens per dollar for Sea-Rovers — will contribute to an individual's future status.

As the program is unveiled in 2023, these tokens will fast-track sailors to the highest tiers possible.

Sea-Blazers

Those who sailed with Virgin in 2021 are dubbed Sea-Blazers and will be rewarded handsomely for their support. Additional perks include a $125 bar tab bonus for life.

Sea-Rovers

Anyone who sailed twice in 2022 is designated a Sea-Rover and will earn a $100 bar tab bonus for two years (valid through 2024).

Matching other cruise and airline rewards programs

What's more, Virgin Voyages will match the status of travelers enrolled in other cruise and select airline travel rewards programs. These 'Match & Sea More' sailors will granted Sea-Rover status, which includes the $100 bar tab bonus for two years (valid through 2024).

Share ideas, input

As the final component of the 2022 program, Virgin Voyages is inviting sailors to share what perks they’d like offered, how Virgin Voyages can elevate its loyalty program and what the company can do to make its Sailing Club 'one of the most irresistible in the travel industry.'

Email [email protected]. Virgin is accepting all ideas along with volunteers to participate in surveys and/or focus groups.

Members of the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red in the US can redeem their Virgin points on sailings from Miami and Barcelona on both Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady. Through the existing Capital One and Virgin Red partnership announced in March, Capital One cardholders can also access these offers.
