Most recently, as regional director of sales in the Central and Western US for Discover the World Marketing, Wilson represented All Leisure Holidays Small Ship Cruising, Steigenberger Hotel Group (now Deutsche Hospitality), Park Hotel Group, Centara Hotel & Resorts and Expedia’s Travel Agent Affiliate program.

New era of US partnership advocacy and development

'Denise offers a wealth of experience across all aspects of travel sales and industry relations and partnerships,' Voyages to Antiquity managing director Jos Dewing said. 'Over the next few weeks, VTA will be expanding our US office with the intention of increasing outreach to—and support of—the travel agent community. Denise will be the catalyst for this new era of US partnership advocacy and development, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have her on the team.'

Reporting directly Dewing in the company's Oxford office, Wilson will also lead online training initiatives and will host a series of webinars in the coming months. She will work remotely from her office in Dallas, but her VTA representation will take her around the country.

Passion for selling 'true experiences'

'For the past 25 years, my success in the travel and hospitality industries has been driven by one main constant—my heartfelt passion for selling true experiences,' Wilson said. 'Voyages to Antiquity offers the ultimate small-ship cruising experience, and I’m thrilled to represent them in the US market.'
