Adam Goldstein - succeeds Howard Frank
The Cruise Lines International Association board elected Adam Goldstein chairman, succeeding Howard Frank, who has held the role since 2010. Frank will complete his term at the end of 2014.

Goldstein is president and chief operating officer of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

Frank, currently Costa Crociere chairman and formerly long-time chief operating officer and vice chairman of Carnival Corp. & plc, was inducted into CLIA's 2014 Hall of Fame in April as 'Outstanding Cruise Industry Executive.'

The CLIA board elected Goldstein Tuesday during its meeting at the start of the association's annual Leadership Forum. The event is taking place in Miami.
