Agents may select a sailing from the Seminar at Sea program to experience a Carnival cruise while learning about topics such as product enhancements, social media strategies and sales and marketing techniques.
To make it easier to qualify, the line is also significantly increasing the credits agents can earn for completing tutorials within Carnival Passport. Effective immediately, agents will earn 50 credits for tutorials of up to 30 minutes and 100 credits for completing tutorials longer than 30 minutes. Previously, agents earned 10 and 20 credits, respectively.
'We wanted to show our appreciation to the 20,000 agents who are expanding their sales and marketing knowledge each month through Carnival Passport by offering them an opportunity to earn a complimentary cruise,' said Carnival's Adolfo Pérez, vp trade sales and marketing. He added that while the training itself is valuable to agents, Carnival appreciates their time is valuable, as well.
In Carnival Passport, agents select learning activities that best suit their needs while earning credits along the way. They can earn credits by participating in tutorials, webinars, trade shows, seminars at sea and more. The credits convert into points applicable to the line’s Travel Agent Rewards Program.Â
