Gregor Brendel - joins Oct. 1
AIDA Cruises appointed a new svp hotel operations and guest experience who previously chaired Europa Center, a renowned property group based in Hamburg. Gregor Brendel will be in charge of the full fleet's hotel operations, including entertainment.

He will start Oct. 1, reporting to AIDA president Michael Ungerer.

Ungerer said Brendel will support the line's growth with product innovations and new service concepts, adding that he is glad to welcome an internationally experienced executive to the AIDA team.

Before Brendel joined Europa Center in 2009, he worked for ECE-Projektmanagement, where his roles included director, Center-Management International.
