AIDA Cruises' AIDAaura made her inaugural visit to Portland Port Friday. This follows the return of sister ship AIDAvita to the port on Monday.

Alex Hayes, general manager-landside, presented AIDAaura’s captain the Portland Port stone plaque. This was the third German ship to visit Portland in the same week, which has been a great economic boost for the port and the surrounding areas.

Eight AIDA calls

Eight calls by AIDA ships are scheduled this year including with a further inaugural visit, by AIDAcara.

The port will receive 17 calls from German ships this season.
