A&K tours among Azamara's new land adventures in Australia/New Zealand
Azamara Club Cruises unveiled a new portfolio of tours in Australia and New Zealand which, for the first time, has Abercrombie & Kent operating the line's signature tours, in Australia only.

'Abercrombie & Kent will be sharing its singular service and luxury amenities with Azamara travelers on these voyages,' said Roberta Jacoby, md Global Tour Operations for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. 'Their experience bringing the real Australia to life on land complements Azamara’s standard of excellence at sea.'

The excursions go in tandem with Azamara's new destination campaign, 'Beyond All You Imagined,' promoting its Oceanic experiences that aim to go beyond the traditional landmarks.

More than 75 excursions include Azamara signatures such as 'Insider Access,' an immersion in local daily lifestyles, and 'Nights and Cool Places,' after-sunset tours of local hotspots. Plus, the line continues its 'AzAmazing Evenings,' a night of fabulous cultural entertainment that's included in the fare.

Among the 'Insider Access' tours, 'Kazu and the Cultured Pearls of Friday Island' (Thursday Island, Australia) takes participants to a remote island in the Torres Strait to visit the Kazu Pearls farm and see pearl culture and have a Japanese lunch.

'Nights and Cool Places' tours include 'Crocodile Watch River Cruise' (Port Douglas, Australia). Participants keep a lookout for crocs on a leisurely float along the lush mangrove channels of Dickson Inlet aboard a traditional paddleboat. The outing is accompanied by cocktails and music.

Among 'AzAmazing Evenings' is 'Parade Grounds At Fort Scratchley' (Newcastle, Australia) where passengers will hear didgeridoo, jazz instrumentals and singing by the Australian James Morrison and others at historic Fort Scratchley, with a fireworks finale.

Another 'AzAmazing Evening,' 'A Night with The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra' (Hobart, Tasmania) features a concert performance and a meeting with the orchestra members.
