As previously reported, when president and ceo Larry Pimentel visited Sydney in March he said the 688-passenger Azamara Quest was expected to spend two months Down Under after her voyage from Bali to Cairns at the end of December 2015.
It has now been confirmed she will make a 10-night cruise from Cairns to Sydney via the Great Barrier Reef on January 5, 2016.
She will then make a 16-night Sydney/Auckland cruise on January 15 and a 13-night Auckland/Sydney sailing on January 31.
On February 13 she will make a 17-night repositioning voyage to Bali from Sydney via the Great Barrier Reef.
‘Australia is the largest growth market for Azamara Club Cruises globally,’ Gavin Smith, regional vp Asia Pacific for Royal Caribbean International, said. ‘So it has long been our aim to bring an Azamara ship to Australia and we are delighted to welcome Azamara Quest.’
