MSC Splendida - simulator testing was conducted in Buenos Aires and Genoa to prepare for the docking

Buenos Aires to welcome its largest cruise ship, MSC Splendida

MSC Splendida was scheduled to make its maiden call at Buenos Aires Tuesday as the largest cruise ship to ever visit the port.

The MSC Cruises vessel is 333.3 meters long and 37.98 meters at the beam.

To prepare for the arrival, simulator testing was conducted in Genoa and Buenos Aires.

MSC Splendida will be alongside at Darsena 'E.'

The Port of Buenos Aires planned a plaque ceremony, led by Capt. Sergio Borrelli, to commemorate the call. National and international figures from the public and private sectors were expected to attend.
