Rascal Flatts is the most-awarded country group of the past decade with 22.5m albums sold and 15 No. 1 singles.
Carnival also announced Rascal Flatts will be among the performers in its Carnival LIVE Concert Series in 2015. Next year’s concert dates will go on sale in October.
Carnival LIVE, which debuted earlier this year, offers an on-board performance by a diverse roster of popular music artists while ships are docked at select ports. Performers in the inaugural 2014 lineup include Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Trace Adkins, LeAnn Rimes, Jewel, Styx, Kansas, REO Speedwagon and Daughtry.
Carnival recently announced its major sponsorship of the Dallas Cowboys, which includes events during home games.
The largest cruise operator in Texas, Carnival will deploy a third year-round ship in Galveston, Carnival Freedom, in February. Together with Carnival Triumph and Carnival Magic, Carnival expects to carry more than 600,000 passengers annually from Texas.
