Among Carnival Vista's nearly 30 dining and bar venues are new offerings like Seafood Shack and Carnival Cruise Line's first shipboard brewery. Expanded versions of Bonsai Sushi and Cherry on Top provide indoor and outdoor seating, while JiJi Asian Kitchen was borrowed from Carnival Sunshine.

In addition, BlueIguana Cantina features fresh Mexican cuisine and a tortilla-making machine, Cucina del Capitano focuses on Italian specialties and Fahrenheit 555 is a classic American steak house.

Several bars also serve a light menu that pairs with a cocktail or brew. Havana Bar offers authentic Cuban pastries, sandwiches and other bites while RedFrog Pub & Brewery serves Caribbean-inspired pub fare like grouper fingers, Jamaican-style chicken wings and more, plus three craft beers brewed on board.

The main dining rooms, Horizons and Reflections, serve menus from Carnival's American Table/American Feast concepts, with a range of appetizers, side dishes, entrees and desserts, as well as items for the table to share. Poolside, the casual Lido Marketplace offers international favorites, from paninis to comfort food to a New York-style deli.

A Carnival Vista exclusive, Seafood Shack features traditional fare like New England clam chowder, lobster rolls, crab cake sliders and fried clam strips served by the bucket, with steamed lobster, snow crab, peel-and-eat shrimp and raw oysters sold by the pound.

At the RedFrog Pub & Brewery, the star is the hand-crafted beer brewed in collaboration with Miami-based Concrete Beach Brewery. The Caribbean-inspired brews include the aromatic and citrusy Port Hoppin’ IPA, spicy ThirstyFrog Caribbean Wheat unfiltered lager and rich and creamy FriskyFrog Java Stout.

JiJi Asian Kitchen offers a full-service menu featuring a mix of exotic and familiar dishes. Bonsai Sushi has been expanded to offer cooked-to-order items like shrimp tempura, chicken katsu, omakase (chef’s choice) and various noodle bowls, complementing a variety of sushi, sashimi and bento boxes.

Open for breakfast and lunch, BlueIguana Cantina serves tacos on freshly made tortillas and made-to-order burritos that can be personalized by diners at a salsa and toppings bar.

Havana Bar, specializing in mojitos and Cuba Libres, has a bar menu aboard Carnival Vista. Patrons can choose a sampler plate of Cuban dishes or ceviche de mariscos, ropa vieja and pan con bistec.

With a nod to Carnival's Italian roots—all the fleet's captains are Italian—Cucina del Capitano serves a variety of Italian favorites, family-style. The separate Pizzeria del Capitano offers five varieties of hand-tossed artisanal-style pizza, all available free of charge 24 hours a day.

Fahrenheit 555 serves steaks and other gourmet fare, while the poolside Guy's Burger Joint grills fresh burgers to go with hand-cut fries and innovative toppings created in partnership with Food Network personality Guy Fieri. There's no charge for the burgers.

The Chef’s Table, a VIP experience, starts with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for an exclusive group of 14 diners, followed by a tour to see the galley in operation. The evening concludes with a full-service dinner of appetizers, entrees and desserts not found on the regular menus, all hosted by one of the ship's master chefs.

Cherry on Top features sweet ingredients mixed by hand and made to order. The treats use a base of ice cream and at least four toppings, from whipped cream and hot fudge to Oreo cookie pieces and pineapple chunks. Additionally, when passengers order Brownie Buoy—selected by kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital—a donation is made to the hospital.

JavaBlue Café serves hot and cold drinks, sweets and comfort snacks, while Ocean Plaza is an indoor/outdoor café specializing in espresso drinks, pastries and other confections.

Further food and beverage outlets include Serenity (for salads, sandwiches, wraps and other light fare at the ship’s adults-only retreat), Shake Spot (hand-crafted shakes, floats and spiked indulgences) and The Taste Bar (complimentary bite-size preview offerings inspired by Carnival dining venues, along with a signature daily themed cocktail available for purchase).
