Celebrity Equinox has brand-first Gastrobar and Slush
Celebrity Equinox is scheduled to emerge from a drydock in Cadiz, Spain, on May 8 with brand-first dining and beverage spots, along with a new photography studio, retail and Internet lounge.

Gastrobar, a craft beer and comfort food venue, will offer more than 40 handcrafted, boutique beers in addition to Celebrity Cruises' varied collection of wines and cocktails with a twist, all paired with a menu of elevated bar-fare creations.

Gastrobar’s upscale yet casual surroundings will offer entertainment and music for what Celebrity called 'the complete sophisticated lounge experience.'

The spot replaces Cellar Masters, which specialized in self-serve wines by the glass.

Also new is Slush, a drinks venue that introduces Celebrity’s curated menu of fresh frozen cocktails. Slush will feature alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails with ingredients ranging from fresh pressed lemon juice, raspberries, cucumbers and mint to Persian lime, Florida Valencia and Hamlin orange juice with organic agave nectar.

Celebrity Equinox will also expand its retail offerings with 'The Studio - Fine Art Photography,' a high-end portrait studio; the addition of a Michael Kors boutique, first introduced aboard Celebrity Silhouette; enhanced upscale brands including Chanel, Clinique, Dior, Lancôme, Estée Lauder, Desigual and UNOde50; and the new Internet lounge, Celebrity iLounge, in the space formerly known as Online@Celebrity.

Starting June 15, Celebrity Equinox will operate four different seven-night Mediterranean itineraries, which can be combined into cruises as long as 28 nights, with only Civitavecchia (Rome) repeated.
