Peter Kollar said CLIA training puts agents ahead of competitors
More than 5,300 Cruise Lines International Association Australasia travel agents across Australia and New Zealand have completed 100,000 online modules in under five years.

2014 launch of online training

The CLIA Australasia online Learning Academy training modules were launched in late 2014.

They include more than 1,000 pages of content and more than 150 downloadable resources covering the full spectrum of the industry, including the cruise lines that together represent 95% of the world’s cruise capacity.

Biggest benefits

‘Training and career development are the biggest benefits of CLIA membership for travel agents and allow them to get ahead of    competitors and fully capitalise on the growing cruise market,’ CLIA’s Head of International Training and Development Peter Kollar said.

Demand for quality insight

‘The speed at which travel agents have completed their training shows how much demand there is for quality insight into the rapidly changing world of cruise,’ Kollar said.
