This follows the recent move by Thomas Cook to open 11 dedicated Cruise Concept Stores across the UK to sit alongside its conventional shops.
Membership includes access to CLIA's cruise learning programme covering cruise products, destinations, sales techniques and the latest industry trends. Thomas Cook staff will also be invited to events held throughout the country. CLIA UK & Ireland operates the only cruise accreditation programme in the country, accredited by City & Guilds.
The addition of Thomas Cook brings the number of travel retailers in CLIA UK & Ireland membership to more than 3,000, covering multiples, miniples, independent agents, homeworkers and online travel agents.
