Costa Concordia captain's trial gets under way
After a week-long delay, the trial of Costa Concordia Capt. Francesco Schettino got under way in Grosseto on Wednesday with his lawyers arguing he does not carry the sole responsibility for the incident, according to Reuters.

Schettino is charged with manslaughter, shipwreck and abandoning ship in the January 2012 grounding off Giglio. Thirty-two people died.

The trial was put back by a week due to a lawyers strike in Italy.

A video clip posted at the MailOnline shows Moldovan dancer Domnica Cemortan, who reportedly was on the bridge at the time of the accident, arriving for the trial. Identifying herself as a Costa Concordia passenger, she told reporters: 'I hope that all the truth will come out ... about the ship and about the people who died.'
