This vastly expands the Strasbourg-based river-cruise giant's oceangoing programs.
Singapore-Phuket
La Belle des Océans will begin service with a 10-night itinerary between Singapore and Phuket, calling at Malaysia's Malacca, Port Klang (for Kuala Lumpur), Penang and Langkawi, and Thailand's Ko Muk, Ko Lanta and Phang Nga Bay. Ten departures are scheduled, from Oct. 17 to Dec. 28.
In January, the ship will sail two 10-night cruises, to India and from Abu Dhabi to Oman. A nine-night cruise in February visits Jordan, Egypt, Israel and Cyprus. Weeklong cruises from Piraeus, Naples, Nice and Ajaccio follow, before La Belle des Océans sails from Lisbon to Madeira and the Azores in May 2020.
Summer 2020 on the St. Lawrence
The ship will then head via Saint Pierre et Miquelon to Québec. Ten-night cruises between the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario will operate until October, with visits to Québec, Montréal, the Thousand Islands and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The 120-passenger La Belle des Océans will be CroisiEurope's second oceangoing vessel, along with La Belle de l’Adriatique.
