Crystal's 2015 Asia has shorter choices, new ports, late stays

Crystal Cruises' 2015 Asia season has 12- and 13-day voyages plus five shorter get-aways of six to seven days, a number of new destinations and late stays in port.

Maiden calls include Belawan, Indonesia; Sanya, China, and Kōchi and Aomori, Japan.

Later evening stays are offered in Sihanoukville, Cambodia; Chan May, Vietnam; Bali, Indonesia; Pusan, South Korea; Taipei/Keelung, Taiwan, and Singapore.

Culture/region-intensive itineraries include two all-China cruises with multiple overnights in the country’s major cities, and other voyages concentrating heavily on Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia.

At least two overnights are offered on every cruise, and the line will call at less-visited ports such as Yantai, China (Crystal’s first visit since 1996); Malacca and Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, and Taipei/Keelung.

Two-night stays in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City and Yangon are planned, and a three-day pre-/post-cruise overnight land program to Beijing and the Great Wall is included with two March/April cruises.
