Passengers will be able to take part in events and activities based on DreamWorks Animation's feature-film characters, including a DreamWorks Character Breakfast in the main dining room, ‘meet and greet’ experiences throughout the day and photo opportunities that can be shared with family and friends back home via VOOM, the ship's speedy Internet service.
Younger cruisers will get activities, games and adventures rooted in the DreamWorks Animation films at the Adventure Ocean youth program. Additionally, the latest DreamWorks Animation films will air in Anthem of the Seas' movie theater and on a dedicated DreamWorks TV channel in staterooms.
The DreamWorks Experience joins abundant entertainment activities, noted Mark Tamis, svp hotel operations, Royal Caribbean International. Those include immersive experiences in the giant Two70 lounge where productions meld singers and dancers with special effects using Vistarama's super-high-definition video projections on floor-to-ceiling windows spanning 270 degrees at the aft of the ship.
Two70 also has six choreographed RoboScreens that produce multimedia shows.
In addition, the Royal Theater is home to a pair of headline musicals, 'We Will Rock You' and 'The Gift,' an original production created exclusively for Anthem of the Seas.
