The 'Rise of Female Leadership in the Cruise Industry' will be moderated by Lucy Hockings, news presenter and anchor, BBC World News.
The session is part of the Tuesday morning keynote, which includes the 'State of the Industry' panel.
Professional Women in Cruising/WISTA Brunch
In addition, this year's Professional Women in Cruising Brunch will be hosted in partnership with the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association on the theme 'Technology and Cruising ... in Some Unexpected Places.' The event takes place on April 11.
Speakers will discuss how technology is being used to enhance environmental compliance, crew welfare and lifesaving/safety systems, as well as cruise terminal design.
Panelists include Alexandra Anagnostis-Irons, founder and president, Total Marine Solutions; Tracy Murrell, VP maritime safety, DPA, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.; Lesley Warrick, executive director, Seafarers’ House; and Anya Suriyaarachchi, project designer, Bermello Ajamil & Partners. The panel will be moderated by Anna Silva, operations supervisor, Port Everglades.
