Chairman and ceo Pier Luigi Foschi said a range of offers to entice people to sail are being considered. He also listed Costa’s reputation and its more than 60-year track record, its quality product and the strength of its management team as important factors.
And, significantly, Costa has more than 1m loyalty club members, ‘a good base’ to help get through this difficult time, Foschi said.
‘I’m sure Costa will emerge as strong as it was before the incident,’ he added.
