The new Seven Seas Explorer will host the company's 25th anniversary cruise in April 2017
Regent Seven Seas Cruises will provide unlimited, free Wi-Fi shipwide beginning with its 2016/17 winter itineraries, released today. Plus, to mark the company's 25th anniversary, a special cruise is planned on the new Seven Seas Explorer.

The free Wi-Fi will be available to all suite categories and will be accessible from any location on the ship via laptop, tablet or smartphone.

In addition, Regent is expanding its free land tour program to include 11 sailings in Asia and Africa.

The newly announced sailings in late 2016 and early 2017 cover 56 cruises of seven to 128 nights across four ships.

For the 25th anniversary in 2017, a 10-night Barcelona-to-Venice journey aboard Seven Seas Explorer will be hosted by company executives and feature special dinners, a festive sail-away party, a commemorative gift and anniversary surprises. The cruise departs April 9.

Featured destinations in the 2016/17 winter collection include Asia and Africa, where on 11 cruises a free, three-night land adventure gives access to places like Cape Town, Angkor Wat, Hong Kong or Beijing. The free land program is available with all suite categories and includes adventures such as an African safari, a Thai elephant camp or a visit to the 2,000-year-old Great Wall of China.

The Regent fleet will also visit South America, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and South Pacific. Four maiden calls are scheduled. Gisborne, New Zealand, the country’s chardonnay capital, is replete with boutique wineries. Rijeka, Croatia, has ornate Austro-Hungarian-style buildings and beaches. Harvest Caye, Belize, is a new eco-adventure destination being developed by Regent's parent company, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. Mazatlán, Mexico, with its historic old town and beaches, is another new stop for the line.

One of the highlights of the new Seven Seas Explorer's 18-voyage season is the 'Grand Canal Crossing,' a 16-night, Miami-to-Los Angeles holiday cruise that traverses the Panama Canal. Later, the ship will make an Atlantic crossing and embark on its first full season in the Mediterranean, including Regent's 25th anniversary cruise.

Seven Seas Voyager will explore Australia and New Zealand, along with several Asian destinations, before cruising to the Mediterranean. 'Koalas to Kiwis,' a 14-night, Sydney-to-Auckland voyage, includes a journey through New Zealand's scenic Milford Sound.

Seven Seas Mariner begins the season in the Caribbean, then heads through the Panama Canal to South America and the Mexican Riviera before returning to Alaska in May 2017. Among its voyages, 'Villages of the Amazon' is a 25-night Miami round-trip that explores the Amazon River and eastern Caribbean with visits to 13 ports.

In January 2017, Seven Seas Navigator embarks on a 128-night world cruise, which features a Panama Canal transit, visits to Hawaii and Tahiti, an Auckland-to-Singapore segment and an 18-night stint that includes the Suez Canal. Exclusive shoreside experiences are planned in Honolulu, Dubai and Monte Carlo.

The world cruise will touch six continents, 12 seas and oceans, 31 countries and 62 ports.
