Sture Myrmell announced Princess Cruises’ Golden Princess will be renamed Pacific Adventure when she joins P&O Cruises Australia’s fleet in October 2020.

Star Princess to follow

Myrmell, Carnival Australia president and president of P&O Cruises Australia, said Pacific Adventure will be the line's first ‘grand class’ ship. She will be joined by grand class sister ship Star Princess at the end of 2021.

Pacific Adventure’s first programme will go on sale next month.

Adults-only Oasis retreat

The 3,100-passenger ship will have a sprawling, child-free Oasis retreat across multiple decks, with sun lounges, spa tubs, a swimming pool and bar.

She will have an expanded range of cabins, including 560 with balconies, and its first five-berth cabins for families.

‘We’re thrilled to have another ship on the horizon that will continue the exciting evolution of our modern Australian cruise product,’ Myrmell said.

‘We have grand plans for Pacific Adventure and we can’t wait to take our guests on unforgettable adventures across Australia and the South Pacific.'
