The ship will sail four- to 21-day cruises around Southeast Asia to destinations including Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia, from December 2020 to March 2021.
53-day Pacific crossing
Before its new homeport assignment, Grand Princess will sail on a 53-day 'Pacific Crossing & Asia' cruise that starts at Vancouver, BC, and visits 26 ports before arriving in Singapore on Dec. 10, 2020. It's also possible to embark at Los Angeles and to disembark/embark in Shanghai.
Several late-night port calls will be offered, in Honolulu, Osaka, Nagasaki, Seoul, Shanghai and Hong Kong, with an overnight in Tianjin (for Beijing).
Farriek Tawfik, director, Southeast Asia, for Princess, called the Grand Princess program an 'opportunity to deliver new enriching experiences, creating excitement and sparking interest among guests while providing travel advisors with a brand new product to add to their portfolios.'
Grand Princess makes its debut in Singapore as a MedallionClass ship and will replace Sapphire Princess to mark the cruise line's seventh homeporting season in Singapore.
