Following the reveal of the top suites last month, the line shared details of these further suite categories on its newbuild expedition ship, debuting in June 2021.
Organic shapes, wood, stone and textured fabrics
Design elements such as parchment texture-inspired wall panels and curvilinear arches reflect bygone maritime craftsmanship. Custom bedside panels recall luxury travel from another era yet are current with toggle switches, an analog clock and a fold-away reading lamp. Organic shapes, materials like wood and stone and intricately textured fabrics characterize the suites.
Spacious bathrooms with separate shower and bathtub feature luxurious fittings. The ship’s art collection, curated to reflect that of a seasoned explorer, will extend beyond public areas into the suites as well. And each suite will have a built-in heated jacket wardrobe.
Veranda suite
The most plentiful suite category found on Seabourn ships, this includes a separate seating area with a coffee/dining table for two, suitable for in-suite dining. A queen-sized bed or two twins, spacious walk-in closet and sliding glass door leading to a furnished veranda round out the accommodations. The total space is 355 square feet/33 square meters, including a 78-square-foot/7-square-meter veranda.
Veranda spa suite
These two suites, located on Deck 7, feature the same amenities as the veranda suite (and are the same size) plus in-suite spa amenities and spa concierge service in conjunction with Spa & Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil, including a selection of blossoming teas and fresh juices.
Panoramic veranda suite
This new category features a semi-circular living area with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. A queen-sized bed or twin beds face the windows. The bathroom features a separate shower and large soaking tub beside a window. Total space is 417 square feet/39 square meters including an 85-square-foot/8-square-meter veranda.
Penthouse suite
Each of the penthouse suites, located on Deck 8, provides a living area with dining table for two, Nespresso machine, high-definition television, makeup vanity, large windows and a sliding glass door to the furnished veranda. A separate bedroom that can be closed off from the rest of the suite has its own high-definition TV and is adjacent to a marble-lined bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Total space is 529 square feet/49 square meters, including a 96-square-foot/9-square-meter veranda.
Penthouse spa suite
Located on Deck 7, this offers proximity to the spa & wellness facilities and features the same amenities as the penthouse suite along with spa amenities. Total space is 637 square feet/59 square meters, including a veranda of 205 square feet/19 square meters.
Handicapped-accessible suites are available in both the penthouse and veranda categories.
