MSC Cruises on board for World Cup fever

MSC Cruises teamed with Sport 24 to broadcast live all 64 games of the 2014 FIFA World Cup taking place in Brazil in June and July.

In addition to the games being shown aboard the MSC fleet sailing in the Mediterranean, Baltic, Norwegian fjords, northern Europe and the Caribbean, themed entertainment and activities will be organised during the tournament.

In the days leading up to the beginning of the competition, a World Cup-themed sail-away pool party will be held on all ships. Other activities include a table football tournament where teams will compete for prizes, a water games team challenge and football-related quiz competition.

During the final stages of the tournament MSC passengers will have the possibility to bet on which team will win each match. Their bets will be collected in two boxes (one per team) and at the end of the game, the name of the winner will be chosen from the winning box, and MSC prizes will be awarded.
