MSC Fantasia passengers capture traditional Turkish welcome at Marmaris

MSC Fantasia pays a maiden visit to Marmaris

MSC Fantasia made a maiden call at Marmaris Cruise Port Saturday. The ship arrived in Marmaris in the early hours of the morning with 3,273 passengers and 1,237 crew onboard.

Marmaris Cruise Port welcomed the guests in traditional Turkish style, greeted with music and displays by an Ottoman military marching band, and complimentary mini Turkish bazaar on the pier.

The master of MSC Fantasia was presented with a commemorative plaque, made of a traditional Turkish tile; a handcrafted ceramic with Ottomon Gallion motives by Burak Okcu, harbour master of Marmaris and Sukru Tugay, Marmaris Cruise Port’s managing director.
