MSC Lirica will operate a new itinerary for MSC with departures from Venice or Bari
When the larger MSC Splendida arrives for its new China service in May 2018, year-round ship MSC Lirica will have just redeployed to the eastern Mediterranean to launch a new itinerary for MSC Cruises.

MSC Lirica will sail seven-night cruises from Venice, starting April 6, with the option of embarking at Bari. The new program will stretch until late October.

This brings MSC's eastern Mediterranean lineup to four ships.

'Guest demand for cruise vacations in the Mediterranean continues to be strong. We have particularly seen [increased] interest in the eastern Mediterranean, with destinations such as the Greek Islands and Croatia really capturing the imagination of travelers,' MSC Cruises CEO Gianni Onorato said.

MSC Lirica's destinations include Mykonos, Heraklion (Crete), Corfu and Dubrovnik.

Not only is it a new itinerary for MSC, but the line will offer more time in the destinations, including a longer stay at Corfu and a full day at Mykonos.

Bookings are open now.
