‘Norwegian considered the Sky deployment a success,’ noted Kyriakides, who said the company has committed to a fleet wide deployment, starting with Norwegian Bliss.
‘Our team is onboard the Bliss now for the sea trials and completing the installation and integration with the shipboard systems.’
By connecting to the ship’s wifi network to use the complimentary Cruise Norwegian app guests can stay up-to-date on what’s happening on board and make reservations for dining, entertainment and shore excursions.
Guests can stay connected with friends and family on board with the app’s unlimited onboard calls and messages for a one-time fee of $9.95 for the cruise.
Guests can also make calls through the Cruise Norwegian app for a nominal fee of $0.79 per minute for outbound calls to nearly every country in the world. Both landline and mobile phones worldwide may be called using the app.
