In addition to Norwegian Bliss repositioning to New York for the fall/winter 2019/20 season, Norwegian Escape will return to Miami, Norwegian Getaway will cruise from New Orleans, Norwegian Breakaway from Port Canaveral and Norwegian Epic from San Juan.
Following a year and half stay in New York, Norwegian Escape will return to the city of its christening, Miami, on Nov. 23, 2019, and sail seven-day western Caribbean cruises through April 18, 2020. Ports are Cozumel, Costa Maya, Roatán and Harvest Caye (Belize).
Norwegian Breakaway will reposition from Miami to Port Canaveral, arriving on Nov. 23, 2019, and becoming one of the largest ships to sail from Central Florida. Norwegian Breakaway will spend the winter 2019/20 season on eastern and western Caribbean cruises departing Saturdays.
The western route includes Falmouth (Jamaica), Grand Cayman and Cozumel, while the eastern route has St. Thomas, Tortola and Great Stirrup Cay.
For the first time passengers will be able to sail from San Juan aboard Norwegian Epic. From Dec. 8 through March 15, the ship will be the youngest and largest cruise vessel based there. Weeklong southern Caribbean cruises visit Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, St. Lucia and St. Kitts, while 10- and 11-day sailings add Barbados, Antigua, St. Maarten and St. Thomas.
And starting Nov. 8, 2019, Norwegian Getaway will sail from New Orleans for the first time, offering a mix of seven-, nine- and 12-day cruises to the western Caribbean. The ship will become the youngest and largest sailing from the Big Easy. Ports are Costa Maya, Harvest Caye, Roatán, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios on nine-day voyages.
Norwegian Getaway’s seven-day western Caribbean cruises will visit Cozumel, Costa Maya, Roatán and Harvest Caye, while a 12-day cruise adds Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios and Puerto Limón (Costa Rica).
In other winter 2019/20 deployment, Norwegian Gem will return to the Big Apple from Nov. 22 to March 16 for a variety of 10- and 11-day southern Caribbean itineraries and one 14-day cruise to St. Kitts, Antigua, St. Thomas and St. Lucia.
The ship will kick off the 2019 holiday season with an eight-day Bahamas and Florida cruise from New York on Dec. 13. This family-friendly itinerary includes an overnight stay and two days at Port Canaveral, plus Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau.
Norwegian Dawn will return to Tampa for cruises from Nov. 24, 2019, through March 22, 2020. Ports are Roatán, Cozumel, Costa Maya and Harvest Caye.
Those looking for a quick winter getaway over a long holiday weekend can sail on Norwegian Dawn from Tampa for a five-day Bahamas and Florida cruise departing Jan. 16, 2020. This one-of-a-kind itinerary includes Key West and Great Stirrup Cay.
Panama Canal sailings will be offered on Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Gem. Norwegian Gem will cruise from New York to San Francisco on a 20-day journey departing Jan. 4, 2020, and then back on a 21-day cruise sailing Jan. 24. Ports are Curaçao and Aruba, plus destinations in Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Guatemala.
Norwegian Dawn will sail a one-of-a-kind 15-day cruise from New York to Tampa to the Panama Canal, departing on Nov. 9, 2019. The ship will visit Curaçao, Aruba, Santa Marta and Cartagena in Colombia before a daytime Canal transit, followed by calls at Puerto Limón, Roatán, Harvest Caye and Costa Maya.
Norwegian Dawn will also sail a 14-day round-trip Panama Canal cruise from Tampa departing on Dec. 1, 2019.
