In Croatia, besides popular ports like Hvar, pictured here, SeaDream will add a new stop, Vis
SeaDream Yacht Club's 2020 Mediterranean season includes the French and Italian rivieras, Greek Isles, Spanish coast and Adriatic Sea. New ports and yachting land adventures as well as more overnight stays in select locations are highlights.

More Greece and Adriatic, return to Kusadasi

SeaDream I and SeaDream II will go back to traditionally popular ports while also incorporating locations away from the crowds, according to Emilio Freeman, VP destinations and revenue management.

The 2020 itineraries feature more stops in Greece and ports in the Adriatic than previous years. Back by popular demand, SeaDream will return to Kusadasi, Turkey, where travelers can attend an evening concert at Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Additionally, nearly every voyage will provide at least one overnight stay.

New ports include Ikaria, Greece, best known as one of the world’s five 'Blue Zones,' where locals enjoy longevity and good health. Ikaria is often recognized as the best Greek island for nature lovers.

'Mamma Mia!'

Also new, Vis is home to some of Croatia's most beautiful beaches and was prominently featured in 2018’s 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.'

Santa Maria di Leuca, located on the southernmost tip of the Salento peninsula, the 'heel' of Italy’s 'boot,' features impressive geological formations.

Koper is home to one of Slovenia's largest cathedrals as well as beautiful architecture from various periods. Visitors can stroll the narrow streets and soak in the medieval town’s history and culture.

New Malta turnarounds

Valletta, Malta, rich in history and cultural significance, will serve as a new embarkation and disembarkation port. The Maltese capital city is recognized as one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world and is often described as an open-air museum. Additionally, for the first time, SeaDream will visit Xlendi Bay in the island of Gozo, a popular swimming and snorkeling spot in the Maltese archipelago.

The season’s schedule will offer opportunities to combine back-to-back voyages that don't repeat ports. Wine voyages and grand voyages will be announced at a later date.

Plus, in the Caribbean, more Cuba

Prior to making its way to the Mediterranean, SeaDream Yacht Club will kick off 2020 in the Caribbean, where some itineraries feature Cuba as a sole destination.

There, SeaDream II will visit areas including Punta Frances Marine National Park in Isla de Juventud and the lush natural landscapes of Maria la Gorda. The Cuba voyages will depart from Havana or Cienfuegos and explore the western side of the island, making stops at up to six ports in the country.
