Avoya Travel promoted Jeff Anderson and Michael Anderson to co-presidents and Brad Anderson to co-founder.

In addition, Ashley Hunter moved up to SVP strategic operations and partnerships. Other recent executive promotions in several departments include Steve Hirshan to SVP sales, Viola De Velasco to VP sales operations and Daniel Rego to VP business intelligence.

Co-presidents

Jeff and Michael Anderson will direct the company's vision and guide the overall organization. Together they're tasked with continuing their family’s legacy of innovation, industry leadership and 'Shared Success,' while driving the Avoya 2025 strategy and inspiring future company evolution.

The two have shared responsibility in growing the business with their complementary skill sets for more than 15 years. During their tenure Jeff’s ingenuity in sales and marketing and Michael’s progressive technology developments together advanced Avoya’s approach of integrating technology and people to improve the customer vacation planning experience, while also creating more success for travel professionals and suppliers.

Co-founder

Former President Brad Anderson now joins his brother Van Anderson as co-founder. Like Van, who has served as co-founder since 2015, Brad will remain involved in the organization’s growth and success. He will continue to focus on long-range strategic planning, fostering industry relationships and supporting the Avoya executive team.

SVP strategic operations and partnerships

Having previously served as VP business development, Ashley Hunter's new role capitalizes on her more than 12 years of leadership and management experience at Avoya. The position expands on her accomplishments in cultivating close working relationships with preferred suppliers as well as corporate planning and execution of internal processes.

Hunter will focus on optimizing Avoya’s competitiveness in the marketplace, while also creating and implementing cross-department strategies to meet the organization’s short- and long-term goals.

Record sales results

The executive changes and promotions follow Avoya’s record 2018 results in sales and network growth, which both are continuing into 2019. Investing in personnel is a fundamental element of Avoya’s 2025 plan and the company expressed confidence in the exceptional individuals who continue to spearhead progress throughout Avoya.

'I’m humbled to have a team that brings complementary strengths and abundant passion to drive Avoya Travel’s advancements for years to come,' Brad Anderson said. 'Jeff and Michael have proven their leadership for many years and promoting them is the most logical succession plan to bring Avoya Travel to the next level.'
