He reports to Emilio La Scala, president and MD of MSC Cruise Management, the company's London-based maritime operations organization.
Corbijn brings experience from large and boutique cruise lines, both in direct employment and as a consultant. He spent nearly six years as VP fleet personnel at Norwegian Cruise Line, and was EVP operations at Windstar Cruises and Majestic America Line for almost three years.
While commercial shipping program manager for BMT Designers & Planners in the Seattle area, he marketed US government products and services created for the Navy and the Coast Guard to the commercial shipping industry with a focus on cruise lines.
Before that Corbijn spent many years with Holland America Line, first in several deck officer roles then, ultimately, as master. Shoreside he served as director of environmental compliance.
Most recently Corbijn founded Reveles Solutions, a maritime management consulting company based in Florida.
