Besides week-long cruises, Norwegian Jade will offer several eight-, 10- and 11-day sailings
Port Tampa Bay officials presented a plaque to the captain and crew of Norwegian Jade on Sunday, welcoming the ship to its new homeport for the winter season.

Norwegian Jade will sail Sundays to Cozumel, Costa Maya, Roatán and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings' new southern Belize destination, Harvest Caye.

The ship will also operate two eight-day holiday sailings this month that add a stop at Santo Tomas de Castilla, Guatemala.

And, marking the first time Norwegian Cruise Line has offered sailings longer than a week from Tampa, Norwegian Jade will operate two 10-day and two 11-day eastern Caribbean cruises.

The 10-day cruises sail Jan. 15 and March 19 to Key West, Tortola, Antigua, St. Maarten and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Norwegian will call at Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, for the first time with Norwegian Jade’s 11-day cruises on Jan. 25 and March 29. Additional ports include Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios, St. Thomas or Tortola and San Juan.

'Norwegian is an outstanding cruise partner, and we look forward to many more years of welcoming them as an important part of our robust cruise business,' port president and ceo Paul Anderson said.

Norwegian Star operated from Tampa last winter.
