Oceania will make a donation of $500 per stateroom for new bookings on 13 Caribbean voyages from December through April.
Regent will donate $750 per new suite booking made through Oct. 31 on eight 2018 Caribbean voyages aboard Seven Seas Explorer. Additionally, Regent travelers making these new bookings will save $750 per suite.
Both companies' donations and Regent's savings offer will contribute to NCLH's campaign, which has committed to match up to $1.25m in donations from passengers, team members, suppliers and partners.
'This rebuilding and restoration process is very personal to us, as we have such strong ties to the region. We have friends, family and decades-long business partnerships in these islands and it’s critical that we help them rebuild and restore,' said Bob Binder, president & CEO, Oceania Cruises.
Oceania voyages where the $500 donation applies also have revised itineraries. Among them are Riviera's Dec. 12 cruise round-trip Miami. The 10-day itinerary includes Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Roatán, Santo Tomas (Guatemala), Belize City, Costa Maya and Key West.
Marina's Dec. 17 cruise, also round-trip Miami, is a 12-day program to Santo Tomas, Costa Maya, Roatán, Puerto Limón (Costa Rica), Colón, Harvest Caye and Key West. Nine other cruises on Riviera and one each on Sirena and Regatta, all round-trip Miami with varied ports, are also eligible.
As for Regent, 'We are deeply moved over the devastation that the hurricanes left in their wake, but thankful that many islands were spared the storms’ full force,' president and CEO Jason Montague said. 'We have been in contact with our friends and business partners who were severely impacted and they have all said the same thing: We will rebuild. Their resilience and strength is truly inspirational and they are already working hard to return their towns to their radiance and charm. Now it’s up to us to give them the well-deserved help that they need.'
The applicable Regent voyages include four eastern Caribbean routes (Jan. 3, 11 nights; Jan. 30, 10 nights; Feb. 19, 10 nights; March 11, 10 nights) and three western Caribbean cruises (Jan. 20, 10 nights; Feb. 9, 10 nights; March 1, 10 nights). Also eligible is the March 21 Bermuda and trans-Atlantic cruise, 14 nights.
