Pandaw announces new on-board enhancements for 2016
River cruise operator, Pandaw is announced a series of enhancements to its on-board product in Burma, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and China for 2016.

New for 2016, Pandaw has altered the configuration of the staterooms on the front section of the upper deck of the Pandaw 2 and the Mekong Pandaw to create a series of new suites.

At over 360sq ft they are the largest staterooms seen to date on a Pandaw vessel and will feature a private balcony and a spacious lounge area with a sofa plus double or twin bed and private bathroom. A range of enhanced in-room amenities include minibar and Espresso machine as well as a basket of fruit on arrival. Guests booking a suite also benefit from complimentary house wine with lunch and dinner.

The suites will be available on departures aboard the Mekong Pandaw from July 2016 and from September 2016 on the Pandaw 2.

Available from December 2015, guests will also be able to hire branded mountain bikes on any Pandaw owned ship in Burma and Indochina for the first each stop. The crew will advise guests on the best routes to follow and if required a member of the crew will accompany the guests. Bikes on board are bookable online for 25US$ per bike per cruise.

Also new, a special programme of family friendly cruises has been devised on specific school holiday departures. Departing on either  July 30, 2016 or for Christmas on December 24, 2016 on the ‘Burma-Mandalay Pagan Packet’ itinerary, a seven-night cruise costs from £1,070 per person, cruise only.

All these itineraries include a special programme of shore excursions and cycling tours of the local area as a family or with a group. Meals have also been designed for children and teenagers in mind and children can partake in on board cooking lessons.

Children aged under four years old travel free if sleeping in a cot and sharing a stateroom with two adults. Children aged between four and 18 years sharing a stateroom with two adults receive a 50% reduction on the adult price.
