Larry Pimentel - 'Being on our ships with our loyal guests is my favorite part of this job'
President and ceo Larry Pimentel will accompany Azamara Club Cruises' first loyalty club sailing, a 10-night Arabian Gulf and Emirates voyage in October.

The 2016 Le Club Voyage itinerary, Oct. 24 to Nov. 3, highlights the destination immersion Azamara is known for, and Pimentel will host some of the Land Discoveries (available at an extra charge).

Among them, from Azamara's 'Nights and Cool Places' series, he'll join 'Bahrain by Night.' In Al Manamah, this adventure showcases a kingdom known for its dramatic landscapes and architecture. Participants will be able to capture landmarks like Al-Fateh Grand Mosque and Bahrain Fort with help from a photography expert local guide.

From the 'Insider Access' series, Pimentel will host a 'Farmhouse Experience' just outside Dubai where participants spend time on a working family farm and taste homemade Emirati dishes following a culinary demonstration by a family member.

'Abu Dhabi from The Sea Plane,' featuring water takeoffs and landings, will show participants bird's-eye views of Emirates Palace, Yas Marina Circuit, Sheikh Zayed Bridge, the Corniche and more. 'Abu Dhabi 4x4' travels into the Al Khatim Desert, escorted by a safari marshal. Once there, participants will ride a camel and try sand boarding.

In Doha, 'Azamara Private Journey, A Presidential Discovery of Qatar' has travelers take a 4x4 for a rollercoaster ride over the Arabian dunes to the inland sea of Khor Al Adeid. A traditional barbecue lunch will be served at a desert camp bordering the Arabian Gulf, and participants can explore the Msheireb Museum, a collection of historic homes in the oldest quarter of the capital city.

From Muscat, an 'Overland Bedouin Event Tour' provides an overnight amid the sands of Oman in a luxurious Bedouin-style camp, complete with an off-road expedition to Wadi Arabayeen. The experience includes a barbecue, a visit to a Bedouin family, dune-bashing and camel riding.

'Being on our ships with our loyal guests is my favorite part of this job,' Pimentel said. 'It’s so fulfilling to see the hard work we do in the office pay off. Spending time on board with our crew and then on land experiencing all of the destination immersive programming we develop is pure joy.'
