In order to strengthen their cooperation in the French market, Marseille-based Ponant and Air France have agreed on a new commercial and marketing partnership.

With this agreement, Air France becomes Ponant’s non-exclusive preferred partner.

‘I’m happy and proud to sign this new partnership with Air France, and so doing to promote French excellence in the sky, on land and at sea,’ said Jean-Emmanuel Sauvée, Ponant’s president.

Patrick Alexandre, Air France-KLM evp, commercial passenger business added, ‘Ponant and Air France share very strong values, all geared towards exceptional service offered to customers.  With this partnership, we want to offer "designer" travel in the sky and at sea.

Ponant’s fleet of four luxury ships will be joined by 122 cabin Le Lyrial, in spring 2015.

Air France, operates 1,500 daily flights in France, Europe and around the world. Since 2004, Air France and KLM have formed a major player in the air transport industry.
