The new design includes improved functionality to select departure and return flights separately, add a stopover flight segment, easily compare real-time flexible and restricted fares and review more detailed schedule displays.
'Now our travel consultants can simply navigate a more advanced and intuitive platform and seamlessly coordinate their clients’ air travel along with their cruise itinerary,' said John Chernesky, vp North America sales for Princess and Cunard.
Improved functionality enables the ability to select departing and return flights independently, and better search filters to easily identify the best flight for clients based on preferred airlines, fare type, number of stops, departure time, price and duration.
There is easy comparison of flexible and restricted fare options for the same flights and a logic-driven calendar to guide flight planning based on ship departure and arrival dates. Information about type of aircraft, connections and layover times is newly designed.
Improved navigation enables travel consultants to move easily across the booking flow from each step of the process including Search, Select Departure, Select Return, Summary and Pay.
Princess eZAir and Cunard CompleteAir offer real-time, competitively priced flights for each cruise itinerary and include Late Arrival Protection, something not offered by other major air booking websites. Each tool continues to provide the Fly With Me feature that allows travel consultants to book the same air itinerary for multiple bookings on the same cruise linked together (TWID).
Further, the tools simplify the planning process with one point of contact for cruise and air, and allow clients to defer payment to the time of final cruise payment on select fares.
