Pullmantur creates app to keep youngsters connected and entertained

The Factory-low
Onboard entertainment space for young passengers

Pullmantur Cruises has created The Factory, an entertainment program for young adults aged between 12 and 17.

The digital app gives users access to tailored individual and team onboard activities.

Pullmantur Cruises’ President & CEO, Richard J. Vogel, considers the age group’s requirements: ‘The way teenagers entertain themselves is evolving and we had to adapt what we offer to suit their tastes and expectations. Therefore, we have opted for this program, which gives them greater freedom.’

A virtual and real space

The smartphone app can be used to select the day's activities or find information about events, such as time and location.

The app covers team competitions, with prizes awarded at the final event party.

Teams can use their smartphones to take part individually in virtual competitions answering questions related to the next calls or to the ship itself.

The platform is currently available on Pullmantur’s Sovereign and Zenith and Monarch in October.
