Going forward, French passengers will sail on the four ships of the Pullmantur fleet in a 'Latin atmosphere with Spanish tones,' so giving up totally the French concept which had made CDF successful and, with 100,000 passengers per year, ranked it behind Costa and MSC Cruises on the French market.
The decision follows Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.'s sale of a 51% stake in Pullmantur and CDF to Madrid-based private equity firm Springwater Capital earlier this year.
