Fincantieri chose Scanship to supply its total clean ship system for newbuild Silver Dawn.

Silversea Cruises' 40,700gt ship, sister of 2017's Silver Muse and 2020's Silver Moon, is scheduled to enter service in 2021.

Scanship will deliver systems for food waste processing, garbage handling and advanced wastewater purification.

'We are very pleased to continue our cooperation with Fincantieri on this fourth Silversea Cruises newbuild, and proud to continue working with Silversea Cruises in their efforts for environmental sustainability and cleaner oceans,' Scanship CEO Henrik Badin said.
