During summer 2015, Sea Cloud II will sail into the heart of numerous North European and Baltic cities. The sailing ship will attend ‘Sail Bremerhaven’ festival and ‘Kiel Week’ regatta where she will be right in the middle of the action.
The 83 year old four-master Sea Cloud will undertake a series of taster cruises next year, for example a four night round trip Nice voyage, April 30 to May 4 or round trip Venice August 4-8, or Sea Cloud II sails from Valencia to Nice, May 1-5 or Portsmouth to Hamburg, June 14-18.
Cruises with reinforced or an exclusive focus on sailing have become increasingly popular, states the German operator.
In 2015, Sea Cloud will sail in the Adriatic from Venice to Malta, between October 12-20 with only the embarkation and disembarkation ports fixed.
The two ships will sailing in tandem off the Canary Islands in November both starting and returning to Las Palmas .
Both vessels then depart Europe for their winter base in the Caribbean and Central America visiting the Lesser Antilles, The Grenadines, British Virgin Islands, Cuba, Costa Rica and Panama: Sea Cloud sailing from Las Palmas to Barbados, between November 28 and December 14 and Sea Cloud II from Las Palmas to Curaçao, from November 27 to December 14.
Themed cruises include the Steinway Music Festival from Hamburg to Bilbao, in August. Two of the Steinway Piano Competition winners will travel on board Sea Cloud II to demonstrate their skills. There will also be piano concerts on land in stylish settings in Hamburg and in the Pauillac region in France.
