Under the partnership, Swarovski Optik will outfit Seabourn Quest's expedition team and bridge staff with high-precision, long-range binoculars for spotting wildlife and viewing landscapes on board the ship and during landings.
In addition, a selection of Swarovski binoculars will be available for sale, giving travelers the option to purchase and use the optics during their Antarctic cruise.
'We are very excited about our partnership with Seabourn,' said Dean Capuano, Swarovski Optik's director of communications. 'The overall corporate product and our brand are a perfect fit, but moreover they will be using the product in the conditions it was designed for.'
Seabourn Quest is currently operating a series of 21- to 24-day voyages between Valparaíso and Buenos Aires. Each includes days exploring the Chilean coast and fjords, Beagle Channel, Glacier Alley, Torres del Paine National Park, the Falkland/Malvinas Islands, Montevideo and six days of cruising and landings on the Antarctic continent.
