Seabourn's 2016 Europe highlights World Heritage Sites

Seabourn's 2016 Europe season has all three of its ships on cruises ranging from seven to 22 days to destinations including the French, Spanish and Italian rivieras, the Greek Isles and the Norwegian Fjords. Many ports feature special tours highlighting UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Seabourn Quest will begin its Europe season in the western Mediterranean, followed by a summer of cruising in Northern Europe. During a series of seven- to 14-day voyages, the ship will explore the Norwegian Fjords, the Baltic Seaand St. Petersburg.

Highlights include a new 12-day voyage from Copenhagen to Dover in July, calling at ports throughout Norway and offering scenic fjord cruising, as well as a 16-day cruise round-trip from Dover in August, visiting such Scottish and Irish destinations as Greenock (Glasgow/Edinburgh), Liverpool, Dublin and Cobh (Cork), with an overnight in Belfast. The ship rounds out its Europe season with a 22-day crossing from Dover to Montréal, stopping at destinations in Ireland, Scotland, Iceland, Greenland and Canada.

Seabourn Sojourn will return to the western Mediterranean and offer seven-, 10- and 11-day voyages between Civitavecchia (Rome) and Barcelona. The ship will ply the Spanish and French rivieras, Italy's Amalfi Coast and islands such as Sicily, Malta, Corsica and Sardinia.

Seabourn Odyssey will traverse the eastern Mediterranean on seven-day cruises departing from Piraeus, Istanbul, and Venice. These voyages, which can be combined for two- or three-week cruises, will explore the Greek Isles, historic cities of Turkey and ports on the Dalmatian Coast. New is a 12-day 'Moroccan Gems & Canary Islands' voyage from Barcelona to Lisbon in mid-November, visiting Morocco's  Casablanca, and the beach towns of Arrecife and Tenerife on the Canary Islands.

In addition, Seabourn's 2016 Europe season will include stops at a number of ports that are home to UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These itineraries will offer optional World Heritage Tours to visit these historic sites, as well as special Discovery Tours, featuring exclusive enhanced content developed in cooperation with UNESCO World Heritage Site managers and tour experts.

In various ports throughout the Mediterranean and northern Europe, the three ships will feature the 'Shopping with the Chef' excursion, where a small group of participants accompany the executive chef to markets to learn about local produce and see how fresh ingredients are selected for the ship.

Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Odyssey will offer the 'Marina Day' experience in select Mediterranean ports, featuring included watersports from the ships' fold-out watersports platform. In addition, many of Seabourn Odyssey's itineraries include Kusadasi, Turkey, for Seabourn's included 'Evening at Ephesus,' a private classical concert in the ancient ruins under the stars.
