Silversea's 'Silver Wave' offer has suite upgrades, credit
Silversea Cruises is offering a special booking incentive valid for a limited time on a wide variety of global itineraries. The new 'Silver Wave' promotion provides a free suite upgrade plus an on-board spending credit of up to $1,000 per suite.

Silver Wave is available for new bookings made by Dec. 31 on 31 voyages sailing in 2015, including both traditional ocean-going and expedition cruises.

Eligible sailings cover about every corner of the globe, and range from the Caribbean and Mediterranean to Australia's Kimberley Coast and the isles of Melanesia, according to Kristian Anderson, svp and gm for the Americas.

Examples of voyages that offer a free suite upgrade plus $1,000 on-board credit include Silver Wind's Jan. 15 Bali to Singapore cruise, nine days, and the Feb. 27 Singapore to Hong Kong cruise, 11 days. Silver Cloud's July 7 Copenhagen to London voyage, 12 days, and Silver Spirit's March 9 Lautoka to Los Angeles voyage, 19 days, are among the eligible dates.

Some of the Silver Wave voyages offering a free suite upgrade plus a $500 per suite on-board spending credit are Silver Shadow's May 14 Vancouver to Seward cruise, seven days, and Silver Discoverer's July 8 expedition voyage from Seward to Vancouver, 12 days.

Silver Discoverer's Kimberley Coast 10-day expedition voyage, from Broome to Darwin on April 9, is another example.

Select Caribbean and Mediterranean cruises are part of the Silver Wave promotion, too.
