Alaska's Glacier Bay National Park set a 13-knot vessel speed limit in certain areas after numerous humpback whales have been sighted.

The speed restriction takes effect at 5 a.m. Thursday in lower Glacier Bay, lower Whidbey Passage, Fingers Bay, Berg Bay and around Willoughby Island.

The impacted areas are indicated in blue on the map.
