Sultan for a day or family flamenco—Celebrity has new special-interest tours
Celebrity Cruises launched a new shore excursion program with special-interest categories and more than 70 fresh tours including wellness experiences. Fully customizable 'Private Journeys' and premium Celebrity exclusives are featured, too.

In the exclusive 'Uniquely Celebrity' category are upscale adventures that include a luxurious day spent like a sultan in Istanbul, the opportunity to oar past glaciers in Alaska's Ketchikan and a 'zero to 60' Ferrari adventure in Cannes.

'Culture and Locale' excursions include an evening of classical music, champagne and rare artworks at the world-famous Faberge Museum in St. Petersburg and a concert in the 14th-century Basilica del Pi in Barcelona.

Among the 'Lifestyle and Wellness' offerings is a scenic, guided nature walk in Melbourne, Australia.

In the 'Family' category, travelers can choose from a family flamenco dance-off in Barcelona, a mini-regatta in Bermuda and a castle and treasure hunt adventure in Copenhagen.

'We’ve closely collaborated with local experts to shape a program that will further enrich a vacationer’s experience and connect them more closely to the exciting places that we sail to,' said Celebrity president and ceo Lisa Lutoff-Perlo.

Further new excursions include exclusive, behind-the-scenes experiences at globally recognized landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and interactive wellness experiences such as a tour of the lush Jewell Gardens in Alaska.

For a limited time, travelers can get savings and special benefits when they pre-book Celebrity shore excursion packages with select 2015 Europe cruises.
